Welcome to the Adelaide Happy Wanderers
South Australia's longest running gay social group
Thur 21 Nov: Planning night (U-city)
> Who are we?
The Adelaide happy wanderers is a social group for gay guys and their friends that partakes in walks, usually in the Adelaide environs, on the first Sunday of every month, other than January and December. The walks are usually about 5 km and take 2- 3 hours to complete (including breaks). You can normally expect to be returned to the city by around 1 - 2 pm. We also hold a few mid-month Saturday afternoon walks, an annual camp; winter solstice dinner; planning night and christmas barbecue.
> Where do we meet?
The group meets at CIBO cafe for the Sunday walks and on location for the Saturday walks.1) For the first Sunday of the month walks, we meet at CIBO cafe, 199 Hutt Street, Adelaide, from 9:30am, for a 10:00 am departure. A cup of coffee is usual before departing; as is car-pooling to the walk location. 2) Whereas, for the Saturday walks we meet at the location, which you can obtain from our program page. For more information about any of our walks please contact the listed walk leader.
